What has surprised me is that generally speaking, what clients value most in their relationship with me is not access to the products I advise on, nor the returns generated, but a sense of security & peace of mind that they have someone who understands them & has their best interests at heart. That's not to say the former isn't important, but it seems to be of secondary concern in most cases.

Certainly, there aren't many clients who want to spend hours talking about the ins and outs of their portfolios & the financial markets with me!

Probably! They would also throw clumsy in for good measure.

Providing I could fashion some sort of football out of bamboo, I would probably choose my phone & a solar panel charger.

Supposedly we only use 10-20% of our brains, so it would be cool to unlock the rest.

What I enjoy most is helping people de-stress when it comes to their personal finances.
